Employment Criteria – AVW Ltd
Title: Internal Sales & Service Support.
Reports to: General Manager – New Zealand.
Based at: AVW Ltd, 7 Ra Ora Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland.
Job purpose:
To act as the first point of contact for a customer, current or new, regardless of their method of contact. This includes but is not limited to phone, fax, email, in person or any other form of social media.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
- Accurately input information into our account/stock system as well as CRM. This includes producing picking /packing slips as well as invoicing.
- Assist with freight forwarding contracts and logistics both nationally and internationally.
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships internally and externally.
- Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems (CRM and Fast Base), and update relevant information held in these systems.
- Create part and components build lists.
- Accurately pick and assemble parts for component build lists
- Develop ideas by consultation with stakeholders and create offers for AVW’s customers and potential customers.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, email and personal visits.
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information to the manager.
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings when necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
- Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements of the company.
- Assist with all warehouse functions including but not limited to the cable rolling & cutting.
