Extron Room Scheduling Now Supports Google Calendar and Occupancy Sensors

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Room Agent™ version 1.4.0. This new version adds support for Google Calendar™ as well as room occupancy sensors. Room Agent software turns TouchLink® Pro touchpanels into full-featured room booking appliances that conveniently display a room’s meeting information and availability. With Room Agent, the touchpanels require no programming or intermediate server, as they simply become a client of Microsoft® Exchange, Office 365™, and Google Calendar. Room Scheduling Systems with TLP Pro 520M touchpanels can directly connect to occupancy sensors, such as the Extron OCS 100W or OCS 100C, and automatically release a room when the room becomes inactive. The ability to detect occupancy status in real-time helps organizations optimize meeting room usage.
