The TLP Pro 535, TLP Pro 835, and TLP Pro 1035 touchpanels give programmers new flexibility to support a wide range of room environments. Depending on the needs of the room, the same touchpanel can operate as a traditional user interface connected to an Extron control processor or become the controller itself using LinkLicense for TLP Control Processor. This flexibility allows programmers to tailor system designs to the application while reducing hardware requirements in smaller spaces.

For many classrooms, collaboration spaces, meeting rooms, and other small systems, a touchpanel with LinkLicense for TLP Control Upgrade can eliminate the need for a separate control processor, since many devices can be controlled via a network connection. By combining the user interface and control logic into a single device, system designs can be simplified while maintaining the powerful programming capabilities that Extron programmers expect. When a TLP Pro 35 Series touchpanel is equipped with a LinkLicense for TLP Control Processor Upgrade, the optional TLCA 2 provides serial, IR, relay, and digital input connections available to a ControlScript program running on the touchpanel.

This combination can support a sophisticated room project controlling two RS-232 controlled displays, monitor room occupancy through a digital input, trigger a projection screen using the relay ports, and control multiple media and switching devices over an Ethernet connection while providing complete user interaction on the touchpanel.
